Motion to set aside Win: After experiencing homelessness, Anthony was able to secure stable housing. However, two years later, he began experiencing issues with the habitability of his home. His landlord refused to accept his rent payments, despite Anthony mailing it in, believing everything was in order. Shortly after, he received a Sheriff’s notice and was unaware of why, as he had thought his rent was paid. Additionally, he never received any paperwork explaining the situation. On the fifth day, Anthony was referred to BASTA Universal for assistance. We were able to set aside the already entered judgment and reopen his case. Our attorneys fought tirelessly, and thanks to their efforts, his case was ultimately dismissed.
